15/12: Gourmet December camp - Yule log
This Christmas, young chefs aged 6 to 12 take on one of the most iconic desserts of the festive table: “the bûche de Noël”. From whipping the sponge batter to spreading the filling, rolling the cake without cracking it, and decorating the outside to look like a snow-dusted log fresh from the forest, every step is done by their own hands.
Children learn the techniques behind a classic Swiss roll, discover how to make a smooth ganache, and finish their creation with their own creative touches: meringue mushrooms, powdered sugar snow, or a dusting of cocoa bark. They leave with a complete, decoration-ready yule log and every reason to be proud of it.
A hands-on, festive session in small groups, where real skills meet a little Christmas magic.
