Every En Cuisine birthday is a true culinary experience, designed, plated and shared by the children themselves, under the guidance of our professional chefs. Choose from one of our signature themes below, or work with us to create something entirely bespoke. Whichever you choose, your young chef will leave with real techniques, a nice shared lunch and a memory their guests will be talking about long after the candles are blown out.
You can host your event in our fully equipped, professional kitchen or in the comfort of your own home. We accommodate a maximum of 12 young chefs aged 5 to 18 in our kitchen to ensure an authentic, restaurant-style experience.

Mocktails & Cooking: A Junior Culinary Experience
Step into our professional kitchen for an immersive culinary experience designed to inspire young chefs aged 8–15. This is no ordinary party: it's a hands-on introduction to the craft of cooking and the art of mixology, led by a professional chef.
Working in small teams, your young chefs are given a curated set of seasonal ingredients and a theme to interpret. Together they'll plan a menu, prepare a thoughtfully plated dish, and craft a signature alcohol-free cocktails: shaken, layered, garnished and served with the same care you'd find behind a proper bar. They'll learn knife skills, balance flavours, build presentation techniques, and discover how creativity and precision come together on the plate and in the glass.
It's part friendly competition, part culinary masterclass, a memorable experience that develops real skills in food preparation, drink-making, teamwork and creative thinking. Working in small teams, your young chefs will fold their own dumplings, build vibrant tacos and griddle crisp, golden quesadillas, mastering the foundations of chopping, rolling, seasoning and balancing flavour along the way. They'll learn how a few simple ingredients become something extraordinary in the hands of the cooks who feed entire neighborhood from a single cart.

Working at their own bamboo mat, your young chefs will season pearly sushi rice, master the precision knife work needed to slice toppings cleanly, and roll their own maki from scratch, learning the patience, technique and quiet focus that define Japanese cooking. They'll plate their creations like a true itamae, garnished and arranged with the same intention found in Tokyo's best sushi counters.

They'll learn the rhythm and patience that define fresh pasta, and finish their creation with a sauce made from scratch — bright tomato, fragrant pesto, or burnt butter and parmesan.

Working at their own station, your young chefs will rub butter into flour until it turns to soft "sand" (which is exactly what sablé means in French), shape and roll their dough, press out cutters in their favourite designs, and brush each biscuit with a golden egg wash before it goes into the oven. As the kitchen fills with the warm scent of butter and vanilla, they'll learn the small details that turn a simple dough into something memorable.

Working together, your young chefs will bake their own scones to a golden rise, assemble delicate crustless finger sandwiches with classic fillings, and prepare a small pastry course. They'll discover the rituals that have made afternoon tea a cornerstone of British hospitality for over a century.
It's an elegant, memorable experience that builds real skill: baking, knife work, plating and presentation, alongside a sense of grace and occasion that stays with them long after the last scone.

Tell us about your young chef, their age, their passions, their dreams of the kitchen and we'll build a fully bespoke culinary experience around them. Whether that's a Parisian patisserie masterclass, a deep dive into Japanese knife skills, a from-scratch pizza journey or something we've never done before, our chefs will craft a menu and a session designed entirely around your foodie's interests.
