17/12: Mini chefs December camp: Vanilla yogurt cake

£59.00

The yogurt cake is a French childhood classic: simple enough for the smallest hands, satisfying enough to feel like a real achievement. In this session, Mini Chefs make one entirely from scratch, using the yogurt pot itself as their measuring cup. It is a recipe built for children: forgiving, unfussy, and delicious.

They crack the eggs, pour in the yogurt, measure out the flour and sugar, and stir everything together in one bowl. They learn that baking follows a sequence — that each ingredient goes in at the right moment, and that the stirring matters. The vanilla fills the kitchen with a warm, familiar smell as the batter comes together.

Menu:

  • Yogurt cake

Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 11.30am to 12pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.
