29/05: Mini chefs May camp: Ricotta cake

Introduce your little ones (ages 3–5) to the fun of baking in a safe, hands-on workshop! Children will help make a light and fluffy Ricotta Cake, exploring textures, smells, and tastes while developing early cooking skills.

This class focuses on playful, sensory learning in the kitchen. Kids will mix, measure, and stir ingredients, and even help with decorating, all under gentle guidance. By the end, each child will enjoy tasting their very own sweet creation!

During the class, preschoolers will:

  • Help mix the Ricotta Cake batter with simple, age-appropriate steps

  • Participate in baking and decorating the cake

  • Learn basic kitchen safety and hygiene in a fun way

  • Experience hands-on baking with guidance and encouragement

  • Take home their delicious cake to share with family and friends

Class structure

Hands on cooking classes where your children are in charge of doing everything from scratch with the help of a chef instructor. They will be guided through the step-by-step recipes and get some demonstrations performed by the chef instructor who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course. Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 11.30am to 12pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.


Included in the price

  • All ingredients

  • All cooking equipment and teaching resources are provided in our kitchen for use on the day.

  • Water

  • Drop off session from 10am to 12pm

What you need to bring:

  • Flat-soled and close toe shoes. No heels in the kitchens.

  • Hair clips

  • Tupperware to transport your products home

Contact us before booking if you need to swap some ingredients. (We try to cater for most of the specific diets when possible)

Not suitable for children with the following allergies or food intolerances/diets: Gluten, dairy, vegetarian, vegan, eggs
