25/08: Mini chefs August camp: Provencal cuisine
Get ready for a colourful, veggie-filled cooking adventure straight from the South of France! In this ratatouille and crafts workshop, children aged 3 to 5 will discover the joy of turning a rainbow of summer vegetables into a warm, fragrant Provençal dish.
With friendly guidance, little chefs will help wash and prepare bright aubergines, courgettes, peppers, and tomatoes, stir them together with sweet-smelling herbs, and watch their colourful pot of ratatouille come to life. Along the way, they'll practise basic kitchen skills like washing, mixing, pouring, and arranging — while exploring new textures, beautiful colours, and the cosy aroma of vegetables simmering on the stove.
While the ratatouille gently cooks, the fun continues with a creative arts and crafts activity inspired by the day — keeping little hands busy and big imaginations bubbling.
This workshop focuses on creativity, confidence, and having fun in the kitchen. Expect happy faces, a bit of mess, and very proud little chefs ready to bring their colourful Provençal dish
