28/05: Mini chefs May camp: Pineapple cake
Introduce your little ones (ages 3–5) to the joy of baking in this fun, hands-on workshop! Children will learn to help make Upside-Down Pineapple Cake, exploring colors, textures, and flavors while building early cooking skills.
The class focuses on playful, sensory learning in the kitchen. Kids will stir, pour, and decorate their cakes, all in a safe and supportive environment. By the end, each child will enjoy tasting their very own sweet creation!
During the class, preschoolers will:
Help mix ingredients to create a fluffy cake batter
Arrange pineapple slices and decorate the cake
Learn basic kitchen safety and hygiene in a fun way
Participate in age-appropriate baking tasks with guidance
Take home their delicious pineapple cake to share with family
This workshop is perfect for curious little chefs, encouraging creativity, confidence, and a love of baking in a joyful, social setting.

Class structure
Hands on cooking classes where your children are in charge of doing everything from scratch with the help of a chef instructor. They will be guided through the step-by-step recipes and get some demonstrations performed by the chef instructor who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course. Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 11.30am to 12pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.

All cooking equipment and teaching resources are provided in our kitchen for use on the day.
Water
Drop off session from 10am to 12pm
What you need to bring:
Flat-soled and close toe shoes. No heels in the kitchens.
Hair clips
Tupperware to transport your products home
Contact us before booking if you need to swap some ingredients. (We try to cater for most of the specific diets when possible)
Not suitable for children with the following allergies or food intolerances/diets: Gluten, dairy, vegetarian, vegan, eggs
No refund, credit or ticket exchanges after booking.
