27/08: Mini chefs August camp: Lasagna
Get ready for a cheesy, bubbly cooking adventure that the little ones will absolutely love!
In this hands-on workshop, our 3 to 5 year olds will roll up their sleeves and become little Italian chefs as they help create a comforting homemade lasagna from scratch.
With friendly guidance, little chefs will help stir the rich tomato and beef sauce, layer sheets of pasta, spoon over creamy béchamel, and sprinkle handfuls of cheese between every layer — learning all about how a few simple ingredients come together to make one of Italy's most beloved family dishes.
While the lasagna bakes and bubbles in the oven, the fun continues with a creative arts and crafts activity inspired by the day — keeping little hands busy and big imaginations bubbling.
This workshop focuses on creativity, confidence, and having fun in the kitchen. Expect happy faces, a bit of mess, and very proud little chefs walking out with their very own warm lasagna to share with the family at home.

Class structure
Hands on cooking classes where your children are in charge of doing everything from scratch with the help of a chef instructor. They will be guided through the step-by-step recipes and get some demonstrations performed by the chef instructor who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course. Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 11.30am to 12pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.

All cooking equipment and teaching resources are provided in our kitchen for use on the day.
Water
Drop off session from 10am to 12pm
What you need to bring:
Flat-soled and close toe shoes. No heels in the kitchens.
Hair clips
Tupperware to transport your products home
Contact us before booking if you need to swap some ingredients. (We try to cater for most of the specific diets when possible)
Not suitable for children with the following allergies or food intolerances/diets: Gluten, dairy, eggs, mustard, celery, beef
