18/12: Mini chefs December camp: Christmas biscuits

£59.00

For little ones aged 3 to 5, this is one of the most hands-on, joyful sessions in the kitchen.

Mini Chefs make their own Christmas biscuits from scratch and almost every step is made for small hands. They help mix the dough, feel it come together under their fingers, and then roll it out on the table. The part they love most: choosing their cutters and pressing them firmly into the dough to stamp out stars, trees, snowflakes, and whatever other shapes the season calls for.

No icing, no fuss. The biscuits are good enough on their own and only use real ingredients. Children learn that a beautiful biscuit doesn't need decoration to be worth eating.

They sit down at the end to taste what they made, still warm from the oven.

Menu:

  • Christmas biscuits

Class structure

Hands on cooking classes where your children are in charge of doing everything from scratch with the help of a chef instructor. They will be guided through the step-by-step recipes and get some demonstrations performed by the chef instructor who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course. Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 11.30am to 12pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.
