30/10: Gourmet October camp - Halloween baking
Witches are stirring their cauldrons, jack-o'-lanterns are glowing in the dark and in our kitchen, something equally magical is happening. Welcome to our Halloween baking session, where things are about to get deliciously spooky!
This class is a full-on Halloween celebration. No tricks here, just an awful lot of treats.
We kick things off with spiced orange biscuits. Your young bakers will zest fresh oranges, mix a fragrant, buttery dough packed with warm spice, roll it out, and shape it into their favourite Halloween biscuits: ghosts, pumpkins, bats, the whole crew. No icing, no fuss — just tasty baking.
Then, we turn up the drama for our dark and decadent chocolate muffins. Your children will discover what it takes to build a proper muffin batter, melted chocolate folded in at just the right moment.
Our chefs will be right there throughout, sharing the secrets behind a perfect biscuit snap, explaining why muffin batter should never be overmixed, and making sure every young baker goes home feeling like a proper Halloween kitchen wizard.
