23/10: Gourmet October camp - Cinnamon rolls masterclass
There are few things in this world better than a freshly baked cinnamon roll and in this class, your young bakers are going to make them entirely from scratch. Get ready for the most delicious morning of the autumn!
This is a proper masterclass: one recipe, taken all the way from a shaggy pile of flour and butter to a tray of impossibly soft, golden, sticky rolls straight from the oven. No shortcuts, no cheating, just real baking done properly.
It all starts with the dough. Your young bakers will learn how to bring an enriched dough to life: mixing, kneading, and developing it until it's smooth, stretchy, and just begging to be rolled out. They'll discover what it feels like when dough is ready, why resting and proving matter, and how a little patience transforms a simple mixture into something extraordinary.
Then comes the fun part. Rolling the dough into a wide sheet, spreading it generously with soft butter, brown sugar, and a very good amount of cinnamon, then rolling it up tightly and slicing it into thick, perfect spirals. Every single one looks like a work of art before it even goes near the oven.
While the rolls puff up and bake to golden perfection our young chefs will whip up the finishing touch — a glossy cream cheese glaze that melts into every swirl the moment it hits the warm rolls. That moment? Absolutely unforgettable.

Hands on cooking classes where your children are in charge of doing everything from scratch with the help of a chef instructor. They will be guided through the step-by-step recipes and get some demonstrations performed by the chef who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course. Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 12.15-30pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.
