29/10: Gourmet October camp - Afternoon tea

£99.00

Here's the fresh version for the afternoon tea class:

Pinky fingers at the ready. Welcome to the most charming and delicious class of the season! Today your young chefs are stepping into the wonderful world of the great British afternoon tea!

This class is a love letter to one of Britain's finest traditions.

We start with scones: the undisputed queen of the afternoon tea table. Your young bakers will learn the golden rules of scone making: how to handle the dough as lightly as possible, why cold butter is non-negotiable, and how to get that perfect rise that splits beautifully in the middle. Served with homemade jam and clotted cream.

Then your young chefs turn their attention to the finger sandwiches. Crusts off, fillings perfectly balanced, cut into neat little rectangles. This is where precision and creativity come together. Kids will discover how much thought goes into building the perfect bite, and why the simplest combinations are so often the most satisfying.

And then the last piece: a nut free brownie. A little bit of sweetness and chocolate to finish this culinary experience.

Our chefs will be there throughout because afternoon tea might look effortless, but behind every perfect spread is a baker who knows exactly what they're doing.
