18/02: Mini chefs: Fish fingers

£59.00

Calling all little food explorers! In this fun, hands-on workshop, our Mini Chefs (ages 3–5) will roll up their sleeves, put on their aprons, and discover the joy of cooking while making a delicious Fish fingers.

This playful fish finger workshop introduces mini chefs to cooking with fish in a fun, hands-on, and age-appropriate way. Using simple steps and familiar flavours, children will explore how fish fingers are made from scratch rather than from a packet.

During the session, children will help with safe, sensory activities such as dipping, coating, and arranging the fish fingers, while adults manage all cooking and heat-related tasks. The workshop focuses on texture, sequence, and participation, allowing children to build confidence and curiosity around food.

The environment is calm and supportive, encouraging children to touch, smell, and talk about ingredients without pressure. The aim is to make fish feel familiar and approachable, supporting positive food experiences from an early age.

At the end of the workshop, children are invited to taste their fish fingers and celebrate what they have made together.
