31/03: Mini chefs Easter camp: Coconut lentil stew
Calling all little food explorers! In this fun, hands-on workshop, our Mini Chefs (ages 3–5) will roll up their sleeves, put on their aprons, and discover the joy of cooking while making a delicious coconut lentil stew
Join us for a warm and flavourful cooking adventure in our Mini Chefs Vegetarian Coconut Lentil Stew Workshop! In this hands-on session, young chefs will learn how to prepare a comforting and nutritious plant-based meal from scratch.
Our mini chefs will:
Learn how to prepare and rinse lentils
Chop simple vegetables safely with guidance
Mix aromatic spices to build delicious flavour
Simmer a creamy coconut and lentil stew
Along the way, children will discover new ingredients, practise essential kitchen skills, and learn how healthy food can also be incredibly tasty. This workshop encourages confidence, creativity, and teamwork in the kitchen.
Perfect for: Young cooks who enjoy trying new foods and learning how to make hearty, wholesome meals.

Class structure
Hands on cooking classes where your children are in charge of doing everything from scratch with the help of a chef instructor. They will be guided through the step-by-step recipes and get some demonstrations performed by the chef instructor who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course. Children will get a chance to eat what they have cooked by having a break from 11.30qm to 12pm. Time frame might changed depending on the group and recipes made on the day.

All cooking equipment and teaching resources are provided in our kitchen for use on the day.
Water
Drop off session from 10am to 12pm
What you need to bring:
Flat-soled and close toe shoes. No heels in the kitchens.
Hair clips
Tupperware to transport your products home
No refund after booking.
Contact us before booking if you need to swap some ingredients. (We try to cater for most of the specific diets when possible)
